About College

It was a long felt desire of Osmania Graduates Association to establish teacher training Education Institutions. Two decades ago a resolution was passed to start Colleges of Education at different centers in Telangana Region. In 2000 the management of OGA took a firm decision to start the long cherished dream of College Education with the financial supports of Exhibition Society at Pargi (RR District), Kalwakurthy (Mahabubnagar District) and Warangal. The OGA & Exhibition Society College of Education at Pargi andLB College of Education atWarangal started from the academic year 2002-03, and Sri Bramarambika Mallikarjuna Swamy College of Education started in the academic year 2003-04.

It was possible to establish the Colleges of Education at the three centers due to the initiative, hardwork, dedication and the time spent by the Office Bearers & Managing Committee and Members of OGA and Exhibition Society.

The OGA, since its beginning is doing its best for the development of education in Telangana Region. The financial help from its sister organization, i.e., Exhibition Society stood as a great source of strength for all these activities. These organizations together created history in the jurisdiction of Osmania and Palamuru University for which everyone should feel proud and others should emulate them in the years to come.

Sri Bramarambika Mallikarjuna Swamy College of Education was established in year 2003, with cooperation of the people of Kalwakurthy. The OGA approached the then Government of Andhra Pradesh to start the college in Kalwakurthy; which is backward area in Mahabubnagar District. The State Government provided 10 acres of land in survey No.99 at Kalwakurthy for establishing the B.Ed College. Initially the college was affiliated to Osmania University and is currently affiliated to Palamuru University.
